1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:13.000
Okay, in this video I want to talk about analytics, and I will be going into in the next few videos how to find your analytics, but for now I just want to talk about what we're actually looking for and why we're looking for it.

2
00:00:13.000 --> 00:00:29.000
So, we can think of analytics as a daunting amount of information, because you're looking at like, oh, it almost can feel like rejection, which we are not trying to have it feel that way.

3
00:00:29.000 --> 00:00:48.000
The goal is for feedback. It's numbers and facts that are giving you the ability to be able to adjust what you're posting, adjust, let's say, someone is viewing your video for 15 out of a 20 second video.

4
00:00:48.000 --> 00:00:56.000
That's really amazing, but why are they dropping off at the end? Or is it while you're giving your call to action? Do we need to change the call to action?

5
00:00:56.000 --> 00:01:06.000
So, you're able to start looking at, okay, how long have people been staying to watch my videos? How many people have been interacting? How many people have been sending it?

6
00:01:06.000 --> 00:01:17.000
And so, I'm going to go over the different types of analytics that you're wanting to pay attention to, the ones that are the most important, and then why they're important.

7
00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:31.000
So, I would say the analytics that matter the most are your reach. So, how many people are viewing your video? Because over time, you can look at your views realistically.

8
00:01:31.000 --> 00:01:44.000
If you start on a personal account, you're starting with your friends and family that you know them. So, they're going to be supportive. They're going to watch your content. They're going to comment. They're going to share it because they love you.

9
00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:57.000
But, let's look at the non-follower percent. We would love to get your non-follower percent to be way more than your follower percent because you're reaching people who don't know you.

10
00:01:57.000 --> 00:02:07.000
And that's the goal, to get people outside of your bubble. Now, there may be people in your bubble you're wanting to reach, but people outside of your bubble to come into your bubble.

11
00:02:07.000 --> 00:02:21.000
So, your reach, your watch time. How long are people staying for your video? Are they staying for five seconds of a 30-second video? Are they staying for 27 seconds? And what's the average?

12
00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:35.000
They can break down what videos that are doing well, and you can start to look at, okay, this video people are leaving right as I'm giving my call to action, or they're staying and watching the entire thing, but they're not taking action.

13
00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:50.000
So, let's look at, okay, people aren't interested in the offer that I put out, and that's okay. We're in a trial and error system currently. Until you know what works, we're testing things out, and that's okay.

14
00:02:50.000 --> 00:03:05.000
So, what do they want? You can then start adjusting. Okay, I think if they stay for five seconds, that means I need to change my hook. I need to draw them in better to what I'm giving because, realistically, the meat of your content is in your video as a whole.

15
00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:14.000
You're giving probably your best information a little bit further into the video because you're more confident, but we're trying to get them to stay by the hook in the beginning.

16
00:03:15.000 --> 00:03:27.000
So, if they're not staying for the beginning, how can we change our hook? If they're staying for most of it but not clicking, okay, how can we change how we're presenting our call to action, or how can we actually change our call to action?

17
00:03:27.000 --> 00:03:54.000
Okay, and then saves and shares. These are a huge show of value because people are actually saying, oh, my goodness, I'm going to go back and rewatch that, or I want to go and show that to someone later, or they're sending it to someone, which is an even bigger deal because that's going to start showing the algorithm that people who are watching your video are wanting other people to see it.

18
00:03:54.000 --> 00:04:02.000
So, then it starts to tell the algorithm, okay, I'm going to actually start showing this to more people because people are sending it to others, so other people are going to start seeing it.

19
00:04:02.000 --> 00:04:08.000
So, if you're looking at your amount of shares, that's also really helpful.

20
00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:17.000
And then how many people are visiting your profile and then clicking? It'll show you the amount of people that have actually gone to your profile.

21
00:04:17.000 --> 00:04:33.000
So, if I'm watching a video, it's a big deal. If I watch your video, I like your video, I go to your profile, I'm actually clicking the link of what's in your bio, I'm clicking to DM you, and they're actually taking, like, oh, wow, people are actually engaging with this person.

22
00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:48.000
And that is, like, probably one of your top telltales of that you're building trust with the audience because they're actually taking the time to go and look and see what you're doing.

23
00:04:48.000 --> 00:05:00.000
So, it can feel overwhelming, but, and it can feel like, oh, wow, that I don't know if I'm doing this right.

24
00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:05.640
I want to know these things, but it really is helpful and it'll help you optimize for

25
00:05:05.640 --> 00:05:10.960
your content and it'll help you make your content so much better in the long haul.

26
00:05:10.960 --> 00:05:15.400
So go to the next ones to find out how to look at your analytics.
