Angels are kind. 6 00:00:31.000 --> 00:00:35.000 But we want to understand a little bit more about the context of angels. 7 00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:40.000 So, I want to, again, we have a short amount of time, but I want to build a framework for the angelic 8 00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:43.000 before we just start giving how-to, you know. 9 00:00:43.000 --> 00:00:48.000 And so, Hebrews chapter 1 verse 14 is really a great one. 10 00:00:48.000 --> 00:00:54.000 Are they all not ministering spirits sent out to serve the sake of those who will inherit salvation? 11 00:00:55.000 --> 00:00:59.000 So, they are ministering spirits, angels they are. 12 00:00:59.000 --> 00:01:04.000 So, we're going to discuss who they are. What are the different roles of angels? 13 00:01:04.000 --> 00:01:08.000 Not all of them, but a few, just to kind of whet our appetites a little bit. 14 00:01:08.000 --> 00:01:11.000 And then, what are some keys to co-laboring with, you know. 15 00:01:11.000 --> 00:01:15.000 And, again, you're learning this about me over the past days. 16 00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:20.000 I'm a very practical person, and I like to work smarter, not harder. 17 00:01:21.000 --> 00:01:24.000 That's one of my goals. I just, you know, but I tend to overcomplicate things. 19 00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:34.000 So, I'm reverse engineering that to just, hey, I'm going to work smarter, not harder. 20 00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:42.000 And so, if there's a long prayer line of people, typically what someone will do is they'll pray for every single person. 21 00:01:42.000 --> 00:01:45.000 I'm like, huh, how do I work smarter here and not harder? 22 00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:50.000 Then, I think I've done things where I'm like, hey, everyone in this, I'll just start shouting. 23 00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:53.000 Everyone in this prayer line, who needs physical healing? 24 00:01:53.000 --> 00:01:57.000 And then, let's say, you know, 80% of the people raise their hand. 25 00:01:57.000 --> 00:02:04.000 And I'm like, okay, if everyone could just walk over to the wall and then touch the wall and then come back, 26 00:02:04.000 --> 00:02:08.000 then just do that. And they're like, okay. 27 00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:11.000 I just walked over here, and now I'm walking over there, and I'm doing a lot. 28 00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:12.000 I'm guessing I'm getting my steps in. 29 00:02:12.000 --> 00:02:15.000 So, anyway, a lot of people walk over, they touch the wall, they come back. 30 00:02:15.000 --> 00:02:17.000 And all of a sudden, they're like, oh, my gosh, that's crazy. 31 00:02:17.000 --> 00:02:19.000 I just got healed just in that exchange, whatever. 32 00:02:19.000 --> 00:02:21.000 And I'm like, cha-ching, that's great, okay. 33 00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:23.000 And then, you know, I work down from there. 34 00:02:23.000 --> 00:02:24.000 So, I'm always thinking that. 35 00:02:24.000 --> 00:02:30.000 And then, what happened was I gave counsel, and then power was released in that counsel, right? 36 00:02:30.000 --> 00:02:31.000 Does that make sense? 37 00:02:31.000 --> 00:02:33.000 And so, Jesus told the man with the withered hand, stretch out didn't say that. 41 00:02:37.000 --> 00:02:40.000 It said he stretched out his hand because Jesus said, stretch out your hand. 42 00:02:41.000 --> 00:02:42.000 So, he's like, well, okay. 43 00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:43.000 And he did it. 44 00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:46.000 So, what are some different roles of the angels? 45 00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:48.000 We'll kind of dissect that a little bit. 00:03:06.000 --> 00:03:07.000 Why do we pay attention to them? 51 00:03:07.000 --> 00:03:09.000 I don't want to worship angels. 52 00:03:09.000 --> 00:03:11.000 Like, I don't want to be deceived by an angel. 53 00:03:11.000 --> 00:03:13.000 I hear a lot of talk about angels. 54 00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:16.000 And it's a lot of the negative part about it, right? 55 00:03:16.000 --> 00:03:21.000 And so, I don't want to necessarily elevate the problems with it. 56 00:03:21.000 --> 00:03:23.000 I want to elevate the virtue of it. 57 00:03:23.000 --> 00:03:29.000 And this really helps me to put into the paradigm of there's a king and there's a kingdom. 58 00:03:29.000 --> 00:03:33.000 And the king of that kingdom does not like to do things alone. 59 00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:36.000 It's just not the way that God operates, you know? 60 00:03:36.000 --> 00:03:43.000 But we tend to only see God in one dimension, and we tend to only see God that he does everything. 61 00:03:43.000 --> 00:03:44.000 00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:09.000 You know, it's all the package of Jesus. 70 00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:17.000 But the arrival of Jesus and the message about Jesus was one of the most important events in all of history. 71 00:04:17.000 --> 00:04:21.000 And you think at the level and the caliber of the importance of that event, 72 00:04:21.000 --> 00:04:27.000 that Jesus, that the father would have himself come to Mary and said, 73 00:04:27.000 --> 00:04:31.000 Mary, you are going to bear my son. 74 00:04:31.000 --> 00:04:34.000 But he doesn't, oddly enough. 75 00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:36.000 He sends
