WEBVTT

1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.600
We just released a new feature that allows you to gate access to a specific tab within your group,

2
00:00:05.600 --> 00:00:12.160
and it uses user tags to match specific users with certain tabs. So let me show you how it works.

3
00:00:12.160 --> 00:00:16.160
Previously, once you were in a group, you had access to all of the tabs here.

4
00:00:16.160 --> 00:00:22.640
Now you can actually create a requirement to have a specific tag to access one of these tabs. So

5
00:00:22.640 --> 00:00:27.840
in here, you would go to your group features. I would click into the courses section, for example,

6
00:00:27.840 --> 00:00:34.560
and I can add a tag that's required for someone to use this. And here we also have an upgrade URL.

7
00:00:34.560 --> 00:00:41.040
So let's say that someone does not have this tag in their user account, then this will give them

8
00:00:41.040 --> 00:00:46.800
a link to go to to either upgrade or visit a sales funnel and go and upgrade their account.

9
00:00:46.800 --> 00:00:52.080
So if I don't have the correct access tag, I click on here, it's going to ask me to upgrade

10
00:00:52.080 --> 00:00:59.120
in order to view this page. And then this button can be set specifically with this URL. By default,

11
00:00:59.120 --> 00:01:03.760
if you don't add a URL, it's just going to take you to your default app support link. But if you

12
00:01:03.760 --> 00:01:08.560
add something here, you can actually link them to a sales funnel or some sort of sales page to go

13
00:01:08.560 --> 00:01:14.240
and upgrade their account. Now, the way that you would add this to users is you could go in here

14
00:01:14.240 --> 00:01:20.480
and you can add the same exact tag to a particular user. So that person comes into the group

15
00:01:20.480 --> 00:01:25.600
and then it checks to see if the person has the required tags. And if they do, then it allows them

16
00:01:25.600 --> 00:01:32.240
to see that tab. Also, when you're setting up Zapier, you can go ahead and add tags to users

17
00:01:32.240 --> 00:01:36.880
right when you create their account. This feature should help some of you not have to create

18
00:01:36.880 --> 00:01:42.080
multiple groups for the same product. You could maybe have a shared community and then have

19
00:01:42.080 --> 00:01:47.600
specific tabs that require certain access to get to. As always, let us know what you think about

20
00:01:47.600 --> 00:01:49.680
this new feature and how you plan to use it.
